November

Posted by Chelsea on Saturday Nov 28, 2009 Under Toddler

I can’t believe it’s been a whole month since I posted last!  Time is flying by!  We’ve also been pretty sick in this house this month. I *think* we’re all finally better.  I got sick first with the stomach flu, then Lucy got croup, and then I got bronchitis (which is adult croup).  Bothe Lucy and I still have a cough but we’re much better.

In the last month Lucy went from being a baby to a full fledged TODDLER.  She walking more than she’s crawling and she’s TALKING.  Her favorite words are “COOKIE”, “balloon”, “cheese”, “cracker” (do you see a trend?), “Daddy” (not Dada anymore), “Mama”, and “uh oh”.  She’s also says “Thank You” and “I get it.” Which if you know Lucy-fits perfectly.  She’s little miss INDEPENDENT.  She is just SO MUCH FUN.

She’s also learned a new sign-“Please”.  She can now sign “All Done,” “More,” “Light,” (which she says as well-normally she signs and says “Light” at the same time) and “Please”.

She’s now about 18 pounds and 29 inches tall.  She just grew out of her 6-9 month clothing and is in 12 month clothing.  Her feet are still teeny tiny at size 3.

Now the reason everyone checks in-PICTURES!

Here’s Lu in her winter coat:

Lu and I went to Seattle for my birthday. We met up with a friend and had a girl’s weekend. Here’s Lu at dinner the first night:

I’m part of a birth board where I talk to other Mom’s who were due in October 2008. While in Seattle we had a chance to meet some of the Mom’s and babies. Here are all the babies together.

They were all born within a month of each other-Lucy is the oldest.

Here are some other pictures from our weekend in Seattle:

And, now, Lucy is in her Christmas jammies:

We also got a video of her on the rocking horse that Gram and Pop got her for Christmas last year. She LOVES it.

wow! Ev hardly talks at all. He says a few words but the only ones he says often are Hi and Bye. I’m so jealous! Also..Ev is only a few days older than her but he weighs 30 lbs and is like 33″ tall or so. She is soooo wee! And he is soooo giant. 😀

I purchased this kit as a gift and was sufincieftly impressed to buy a second one for myself. It’s not really suitable for the heavy gardener, but works very well for those who like to potter. The apron is comfortable to wear and the tools, while small, are handy. Highly recommended product.

Best is really in the eye of the bodheelr Personally, I think Dreamweaver is the best advanced web development tool (but it is not for the layman). XSitePro is pretty darn good for the layman and it is a great way to create a full website template in very little time. I use both (I usually start with XSitePro and finish with Dreamweaver). But you really don’t need to go much further that XSitePro, unless you are planning to become a professional website designer.
