Halloween!

Posted by Chelsea on Wednesday Nov 4, 2009 Under Toddler

Sorry, I’m a bit late with getting these posted-I got VERY sick on Halloween and finally just recovered.

Here’s pictures from Lucy’s second Halloween =D

At her school party:

My favorite picture right now:

At Mommy’s work parade:

She totally loved getting candy and putting it in her bucket!

She’s only played with her candy and hasn’t eaten any. Actually she won’t eat any because I just donated it to get shipped to soldiers overseas. She had fun playing with the crikly wrappers!

At Daddy’s Work:

With her friend Aiden (he’s a puppy who didn’t like his ears):

She is SUCH a girl and LOVES her costume. When we get it out she gets all excited. I foresee a lot of this costume in our future đŸ™‚

And just for fun, some other cute pictures:

Eating Mommy’s Spaghetti:

She really likes it:

Like, alot!

And now she’s “All Done” (this is the sign for All Done):

Here she is playing in the sweater I made her:

And, this is tonight-showing off her mad spoon skills:

Lucy’s vocabulary has just taking off! She now can say “Ma Ma”, “Da Da”, “nigh nigh” (for night night), “ca” (for cat), “eef” (for teeth), “oot” (for foot), “cow”, “eep” (for sheep), “pig”, “doh” (for door), “all done” or “done”, “up”, “down”, and “DOE” (for her favorite food AVOCADO!). Oh and “IES!” for her real favorite food COOKIES!

She’s getting REALLY good at feeding herself with a spoon. Multiple teachers at daycare have mentioned how good she is at this. She’s also now in the Toddler Room at school. No more infant room. She naps on a cot and it’s about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. She also eats a little table with little chairs (no more high chair) and doesn’t get a bib at daycare anymore (and boy do her clothes show it).

Lucy still crawls more than walks but just this week she started actually taking steps unassisted at daycare. She’s been doing it for us for a few weeks now but not at daycare. Now she is and I bet we’ll have a full on walker VERY soon.

Lucy is such a good girl and such a joy. She just gets more and more fun. I love seeing what she’s going to do next!

Lucy is just the cutest–and look at those teeth!! We so enjoyed having the three of you; think of Bakersfield as a resort destination and come often!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE lucy’s halloween costume!!! we went with a duck since it was the first animal sound jenna learned, and she loves them. and i thought to myself, “you know, most moms are dressing their kids up like little girls and little princesses, and here i turn my kid into a duck.” but a fairy just isn’t plausible in the cold northeast! anyway, congratulations on raising such a smart little girl.
